What is a Trezor® Hardware Wallet?
The Trezor® Hardware Wallet is a physical device that keeps your cryptocurrency private keys offline and signs transactions within the device itself. Unlike custodial solutions, with a hardware wallet you retain full control — the seed and private keys never leave the device. Pair your Trezor® with the Trezor Suite App for portfolio management, fiat conversions, and firmware updates.
Secure setup
Begin at trezor.io/start. Follow on-screen prompts to generate a recovery seed (12–24 words) and set a PIN. Store the seed offline — it’s the only way to recover funds.
Trezor Suite & Bridge
Download the Trezor Suite App for desktop/web and install Trezor Bridge when prompted. Bridge enables browser-to-device communication for supported browsers.
Troubleshooting & Common Login Issues
Frequently searched problems include Trezor Login not working, Unable to login Trezor, Error Connecting Trezor Account, and Trezor Suite App not Working. Typical fixes:
- Reinstall or update Trezor Bridge Download.
- Try another USB port or cable; confirm device firmware prompts and PIN entry.
- Restart Trezor Suite and check OS permissions for USB devices.
- If prompts fail, test on another computer before assuming device fault.
Account Recovery & 2FA
If you lose access, use your recovery seed to restore your wallet on a new Trezor® device — this is Trezor Account Recovery. Trezor® itself does not hold or reset 2FA for external services; if you used Trezor for 2FA keys, follow the related service’s recovery flow for Trezor 2fa reset.
